In letting my kids speak their mind….. as long as they aren’t too loud about it. Heh….

Okay, really I do want them to have the freedom to think for themselves. To listen to what is happening in our world right now and to let them make their own decisions. Which means that while we are sitting on pins and needles with the changes in our world that is going on right now, We ask that they listen and make up their own mind.

Sometimes I find it hard to listen to them when I don’t always agree. BUT here is the fun part. There are going to be people that don’t agree with them all their lives so they might as well get used to it now. What better place to debate than in the safety of their own home.

So with this in mind, we have the biggest thing in HISTORY happening right now…. to the left we have the First black man to ever be on the ballet let alone be president.

On the Right we have the first ever woman…and the youngest V.P. To ever be on the REPUBLICAN Ballot. (Thank you mom) No matter what side you are on…. there is a BIG THING HAPPENING THIS YEAR!!!!!

We watched our SARAH PALIN stand up in front of the country and accept the nomination for the V.P. All of us in Alaska sat on pins and needles and listened to what she had to say. I am proud of her. I don’t agree with everything she stands for and I don’t use this place to go into those things… But I will say that being from Small Town USA… she sure has made an amazing name for herself. She handled herself well.

Now were is this going? I am sure you are asking….. I mean Shesh DFLY if you don’t use this for politics than what in the world are you doing bringing it up?

I bring this up because it sets the stage for these pictures….

while we were watching Palin tonight, one of our kids decided to show his own mind. He snuck behind us and wrote out a sign to put above his head….

And me …. being the good mom I am … took pictures for you to giggle at with me.

Yeah you read that right….. he spelled her name wrong. LOL…… all those signs ont he T.V. and he got it wrong. But he did it with HEART. and that is all that matters.
