Tast of CA

A friend of mine from C.C. sent us things from CA. From a store called Trader Joe’s. Oh my Gravey boats is all I have to say about that. She sent some realy neat interesting tasts. and I haven’t even tried them all yet.. let me see we have tried the sweet and spicy pecans,Jalapino cheesie crunchies, Honey seseme cashew, dried cranberries, dries apricots, and the peanut butter stuffed pretzels(thank God my kids ate all those today or I would have) There are so many more things to try. and only so many calories in the day. 😉 I can’t wait to dig in a  bit more.

Now she is on her way here on Sunday. So we will get to shower her with a bit of things that she cannot get at home. I am going to try and get her to stay for long enough for me to cook for her. 😉 I am not sure I can talk her into that though. I have A LOT of kids. so we will see what happens. But I can say this. she got along wonderful with my 9 year old talking to him on the computer today. I had to fight to take back over. LOL. Oh well.

It is quiet in the house except for the little turkey in the bedroom. He was outside in the dirt screeming for no reason. I figured he must need a nap today. so I sent him off to the world of BED! and we will see what happens. it is so hard when they feel to old to take a nap but you as the mommie know that they really do need one.

I am throwing a party at my clients tonight. I am also going to get batteries for my camera. Going to try and make sure to get pictures of her with us all. It isn’t very often that we are all in the same room at the same time. and we are being bad a kicked mom RIGHT out. she normally is htere. and were I know she would love to be there. As we would also love to have her there. I think it is good for both mom and daughter get to have  a life apart a little bit. They are all so nervouse about it. It is like D has never had a party of her own without her mom. ( she lived alone for a long 7 years) and Mom has never been able to have time without a worrie about D. So this will be so good for them. we will have 6 CNA’s in the room. all of us are trained with her and what her needs are. those are the friends that D has now. the ones that work with her everyday. SO I think that if anything were to go wrong we would have it well under control. 😉
