Saturday and much to tell

I am working on the video for you all as I write this. I am a very proud momma today. My son. I will tell you about him first. as you see I said I am a proud momma. His first event was his favorite. The 50 Back stroke. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8HI_qgYU6o If you will remember his time was a 100.37 and today my baby got a 59:95 that is a -.42 😉 What a good kid. he had me and BOTH his coaches on the side just a yellen to have him kick and move his arms more.

Than his next event was a 50 Breast stroke. now my baby has never done this one. learned it over the past 2 weeks. We went out swimming in the BIG pool (Toddler friendly) to work on his turns and all the things that he could DQ on. so he was so nervious. BUT he pulled through and was able to NOT DQ BIG THING!!!! and his time is now something we can start to work with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqFUngYGonI a 1:34.98 😉 I am jsut so proud of him…..

Than he was OFF and running to the 50 free. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Il5MVuE6mk that one if you will remember he had a time of 57:10 and my baby PULLED himself into a time of 53:43 that is a -3.67 Just the *BEAMING* I am MORE than proud of him. I am SURe you can see the glare of my smile and the shine of my tears as I write about him he did so well… and he made me cry anyway…. get this. He finnished his last race. came running over to me. “MOMMA… which lane you in….? Momma….. Momma…. which one. I will be there… You look for me. I am gonna sign you to kick… you look and you go fast.” Now how many people can say that they have such AWSOME kids. I am lucky to be able to say I do. 😉

Not getting away with it am I?

Okay I will share. I will

My first event was the 100 breast stroke. Now mind you I haven’t done any of this in so long.;) 15 seasons ago I was on a block. But not since than. 😉 so into a swimming season after that long seems to be AMAZING to me. my time 15 years ago in the 100 breast was a 1:52.49. I told you I wasn’t that strong of a swimming did you think I was kidding you? so today I got in and I did my beast. Not looking to set a new time. Just looking for a great swim and to get my friend (who is 24) to work for it. We train together and I wanted her to push her limits. and she and I both new that if I was beside her…. she would. so there we have it

my time. you ask. a 1:34.20… that is my momma yellin in the back ground. and my husband she said…. Oh and my kids…..;) So I shaved off…. -18.29 that is HUGE! and I was competitive. Now to get it under a 1:20 and I will get the state record for my age;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyWAPmqPouI

Now I am going to tell you the times on the others and I will load the video tomorrow. I am realy tired and need to rest. Not to mention Hubby needs to work on the computer. so bear with me as I get him on here. 😉

I did the 200 IM. I am glad I did. I can say as an old lady I made it. BUT I missed the wall on my flip turn for the back stroke had to go on my back to the wall to get it again. that ment…. loss of time. But I beat my time from High school anyway…. 3:19.06 best time…… 3:18.70 now…. that is a -.36 I am hoping that I MIGHT do it again… and witht hat I can get my turn right. One more time. man this is addicting. 😉

than I went into a 50 free. I had all my apoinents untill the flip turn. than that Kelsi I tell you she is over 6 foot tall and she has a glide that is unreal. so I fell behind. youc an all catch the video on that tomorrow. my high school time 33.81 today it was a 35.25 I only missed it by +1.44So I will get it next time.

I was aproched by the masters team there. seems they have a masters meet that I have been invited too. that all my times are good enough now to hit in with them. I might. Haven’t decided. I sure LOVE doing this with my son. I am the only mom aloud on Deck. all the kids were adopting me… and begging me to go with them and scream for them. and be ont he side Auntie. yell for me and tell me to work hard. when they missed thier times I held them and whent hey HIT IT… and beat them. I cheered them on and was JUST as excited witht hem. Mine or not. they are all my little nieces and nephews now. thier moms even said I could have them. 😉 so more videos latter. But for now. I rest. enjoy. and know. that as proud as I am of myself. my baby made my heart sore…….. HE IS WONDERFUL!!!!!
