Table

We are trying to figure out this wonderful new table that we have in our home. We are so blessed to have found a table that will fit our family all the time not to mention when the added ones are with us as well. 
If you look at the pictures we have only half of the clasp… and we are 
unable to lock the table into place when all the leafs are in…. and we are looking to find out HOW to get it
 to work when they are not in place. It is a strange mechanism that I have never seen before. 
I sure hope that he will be able to help. I leave you with that for now.

I can’t tell exactly from your pictures – but when I was a girl – about 100 years or so ago – Mom had a table that had a mechanism that looks similar. You pulled the lever toward you to unlock it and then pushed it back to lock it. The long “arms” that you show with the white paper behind probably are what move with the lever to open or close/lock or unlock.
I dunno WHAT I’m talkin about. Hope you are able to find the answers.
