Fun in the leaves.

The Humans are keeping us rather entertained. I love it when I see those shoes come out of the wood work. weather it be when she comes home from school and gives us a piece of bread from the lunch lady or when she comes out to pile the leaves and hide things in there for us to find. the newest fun has been the crickets she got us. Those shoes are my Favorite part of every day. I think all of you girls (and roosters) out there can agree there is a favorite pair of shoes in your life too.

This hasn’t been the only thing going on. The Chicken clan has been busy getting things finished on the coop. Yet that had to take a stand still for a few days so they could Butcher the Winter Pig. so we didn’t see much of our Human friends over the week. Lots was to be done. They even had a Choir Concert to go to for Shoes. It was nice that she came in and told us all about it afterwards. would have been better if Mrs. Chicken would have remembered the camera to take pictures and Video of it all… that way we could have felt like we were there with her. But Shoe’s account of all that happened was wonderful as well. We even got her to sing a few bars of her favorite song for us. 🙂

The new Coop.

I tried to give this assignment to another Chicken. But I just COULDN’T keep my Beak out of everything that was going on. It was too interesting to let go of.

I had to keep a close eye on everything that was being done. they had the young Male Children helping. Could you IMAGINE if I didn’t watch over it closely. It could have been a disaster.

With me into everything they were doing I think that it went better than it could have.

I was hiding behind everything. Even under the ladder.

Look at the Product of all of my hard work Supervising.

First this wall. than I told them they better be careful…

Seeing as how they had to get up Tall on ladders and Scaffolding.

Don’t worry I was there making sure they were doing it correctly.

With both sides finished the back ALMOST done…

The Humans only have a small bit to do on the top of the back, and that tiny little strip on the end there.

Than the front. and we will be finished for winter. I am looking forward to tomorrow. Mrs. Chicken said Sunday would be the day. Winter is coming in fast. the first snow has come and gone. She is worried that the next snow is going to stick for good and is only a few days away. so girls… expect some noise tomorrow. Today was work on the car day. and a long day it still is.
