CNG????

The Yard has been so full of news lately that Ginger in her wisdom decided to get the girls a Newspaper started.

So far she is the only one that is reporting anything! Due to her nosiness she seems to be the only one that can get the dish on the Chickens and Humans alike. and believe me… there is some of everything in that silly little newspaper… here is a taste of what she has going………..

The Hen house nears completion.

I am excited to see that Mr. and Mrs. Chicken have been amping up the completion of the coop. The improvements that have been made are AMAZING.

I am going to showcase the things that I like the most….

First are the AMAZING wall hangings that Mr. Chicken was so kind to put up for us. Now Mrs. Chicken was squawking with me earlier and told me that Mr. Chicken got them from her so she should get some of the credit. she seemed rather scorned that he was getting all the love from us girls about the egg sign. that was a gift from a friend of Mrs Chickens to HER, Not to Mr. Chicken so please take the time to cackle with her about that.

Where this beauty was the IDEA of Mrs. Chicken, Mr. Chicken gets the WHOLE enchilada about getting it for us and for where he hung this beautiful thing. He has made sure that all he has to do is be on the back porch to look through the window of our beautiful door so he can make sure we are warm enough all winter long. Not that he won’t be out there with us many times through out the day, But that it will make it easier at night for him to keep a close eye on us when the temperatures get low.

Paying attention to all the hard work:

Now the things that have happened over the past few days caused a lot of noise. not so much commotion for us inside the coop but the hay loft was getting a make over on the door…and it seems that they might just have it about done…

I, Ginger Chicken think Mr. Chickens name should be changed to Chicken Pirate.

Mrs. Chicken sat with me for a spot of tea and told me there is still a major thing that will need to be done. that will be the T1-11 and that is going to be another noisy day. but she assures me it shouldn’t take too long.

I would like to outline the fact that the human Children are being brought into the building project as well.

Sometimes they just sit … But they are working hard…. no really don’t laugh so hard they really are!

This was a big job today… and those Human kids really pulled it off!

They were able to get this Home wrap around the whole house for us. with the end gables up as well. Mrs. Chicken assured me this is a good thing. Over our Crumpets she was telling me a funny story about the youngest Human Child. He was out there running after one of us, it was Vlad’s son, the one we all cringe from, and he slipped in a BIG pile of POOH! OH MY she had me laughing with the way her arms were flaling as she told the story. SO,

They had the other female Child and Chicken Pirate Clean up the yard for us. WAY TO GO LADIES! the more we make sure something wonderful like that happens the cleaner they will keep it for us.

Back to the inside of the coop:

Did all of you notice the wonderful curtains? You would have HAD to as there were a wonderful amount of eggs today. Mrs. Chicken was so pleased she took a picture and than we got her a layed a few more….

She noticed there were 3 small ones. I assured her that what she thought was true. our young black Australorps have begun to Lay eggs. They are hard workers and a wonderful addition to this team.

It is getting late and I need to get this to press. With a few more shots of the fun things we have in our coop I will stop for the day with so much more to share tomorrow.

Our New feeders are getting used a lot. and this is Mrs. Chickens addition to our coop. we have all thanked her many times for this wonderful treat. Continue to let her know how much we love and enjoy them! eat well Young ones!
