week 6 is coming to a close


Int his wonderful marathon training world, I am finding that I am taking it week by week. LOL

here is the training rout for today. I had it in my head that I was supposed to run 15. I think that is because I was doing 11 last week and figured oh we go up in miles. but Alas we didn’t. so today is a 7 mile. I did a little over but oh well.

I am happy to say that the last time I did this run it took me 1:22.20 and this time it only took 1:20.52. and that is an amazing thing for me. I shaved off almost a full 2 minutes. athough it took me 4 weeks to get that. : )

Not sure that i have shown you all which marathon it is. I might have and I am not going to take the time to go back and look. I will just share it again.

I have to say this so you know. I AM LOCKED IN! It is PAYED FOR! you know what that means. I cannot get out of it no matter how hard I try. LOL….

With this week at a close, I have to figure out what training looked like… so you know and so I can be accountable.
mon swim 3400 yards
Tuesday swim 4000 yards
Wednesday run 3 miles. swim 3200 yards
Thursday run 5 miles swim 3200 yards and My arm gave out… so coach J. kicked me out for the weekend untill I see the Dr on Monday for the stupid rotator cuff AGAIN! ARG! She informed me that women of “OUR AGE” should not be doing this much. WHAT? ARE you kidding me. How else do you train for an iron man… you all know that this is were this is going… right? I have to finnish the marathon so I can go for the ironman… which I AM GOING TO DO!
Friday 3 mile run 17 mile bike. MAN I MISS VIOLA!
Saturday 7+ mile run.

running that takes me up to 99 miles in 3 weeks. I missed 5 week 5 ( should be 104) and I still have 331 miles of training to go before I can embark on the 26.2… OH WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?

I am off to take a shower and cool off all my horrably painfull muscles. and tomorrow I will eb biking a beautiful 26+ miles. I cannot wait. I miss Viola so much. it will be fun to go fast again…
