We went to the Botanical gardens. they were amazing.t his was by far my favorite tree. it is called a rainbow eukiliptus tree. it was first used for its sap to make the early Bubble gum than they started to use it as a tree for making paper. it grows a little over 10 feet per year.

from a snowball swimming meet to a week(?) in Hawaii – and you forgot to tell us all that you were even going. Nice pics, btw. And, welcome back

  2. OH MY!!! Hawaii??!?!??! I’m so jealous! Did you know that it was wamer in Kenai, AK than in Charlotte, NC yesterday morning? It was 21 degrees here and 27 there. Of course, it didn’t take too long to warm up past the 27 degree mark. Today it’s supposed to be a “balmy” 60 degrees. I crave summer!!!

You’ll have to be sure to check out my snow pictures on my blog. While you were soaking up the sun, we were enjoying snow.
