			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This will be the finnal entery untill something else comes up&#8230; okay it is the last one about the marathon&#8230; untill NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!!! yes I am an idiot and after I tell you about the last dreaded 6.2 miles you will understand why I say that I am an idiot. I am doing it again. even after the last 6.2 damn near killed  me. so you know&#8230; I went and mapped out the section that I thought was the accual rout. the route that I was going to do was exactly 1 mile&#8230; the route that I was supposed to do was .9 miles. so I would have been over&#8230; the extra that I did&#8230;. was an extra .6 miles. so I did 26.8 miles&#8230; yes I wanted to be sure to put that in here. Because I ran MORE than a marathon and I did it in 5:06.18 and that is respectable. and I will beat it next time. : )</p>
<p>so I ended on mile 20&#8230;. I dont have pictures Untill mile 24 so you will have to listen to me paint the picture for you as best that I can&#8230; My two oldest children unbenounced to me went with dad to the house and picked up thier bikes so that they could ride with me in.  The two youngest went with my sister in her car. as I went past the beaver loop&#8230; I had a mental block. this is were I hit and called my husband and had him come to pick me up. remember that mile 20 was just up the hill and everyone was there and I was getting nutrition and it was all good. I was tired&#8230; But it was still all good. but as I went down the hill&#8230; I remembered a story from when I was a kid. about my uncle that passed away when I was a junior in high school. He was fishing in that little creak&#8230; and he saw a bear. left the fish for the bear and walked backwards to the car&#8230; and his frekals were bigger than his nose by the time he got to the shop&#8230; were I wanted to laugh&#8230; I couldnt I cryed. and thankfully Sandy was there. she is the one that talked me into this thing&#8230; and I cryed while she told me how strong I was and much m uch more. and she ran with me&#8230;. IN DRESS SHOES. for a little while. I needed that&#8230;.</p>
<p>so I ran on&#8230; still lossing more of my mind as I went. so this all gets dicey even more than before. I remember seeing the T shirt place. and I remember searching for a place that was going to tell me how many miles I had done. so I kept looking and looking and my feet were shuffeling. I was realizing that my feet were not lifting and that I kept coughing. I thought it was just the stupid poweraide phlem that I always get. so I was just coughing and spitting and kept going. somewere my mind focused&#8230; and I realized I was looking for another sign&#8230; and it said. 23!!!! Okay so I lost a few miles in there and wait a minute&#8230;. there are kids with me now. and oh look&#8230;. theres JULIE from swimming. and if I wave maybe she will give me a ride home&#8230;. No Fly RUN! RUN FLY RUN! the kids were talking and it was making me mad. no reason as to why. they were saying things and it just irritated me&#8230; Than a BIG RIG honked&#8230;a nd I waved and than we were at Swires&#8230; and I stopped to drink and walk&#8230; 60 seconds latter&#8230; I was yelling at my legs to move. so now we are at 2 times stopping. for only 60 seconds of walking each&#8230; and as I yelled at my legs they started to move again and the pain was intense my mind had to find another place to be&#8230; and it did. I dont know were that place was or what it was doing there. But it only came out long enough to yell at T~ fly when he said&#8230;</p>
<p>&#8220;Look momma there&#8217;s NANNA!&#8221;</p>
<p>I almost lost my hat at him&#8230;. &#8221; would you just GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!&#8221;</p>
<p>than Hubby had to explain that I was no longer myself. that he couldn&#8217;t take it to heart. that I was in alot of pain.</p>

<p>This is were the noise makers came into play. and yelling and go mommas and and and&#8230;. JERRY WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw  him I remember seeing him. he told me this morning that he knew I was gone. that when he looked at me he saw only me seeing the road&#8230; that I was a woman in pain. and I would see nothing but the road. I was only there to finnish at that point.</p>

<p>I have no idea if I even looked to see if I had the right of way&#8230; I just kept moving for fear that if I stopped I couldnt get my legs started again&#8230; Michelle was back and I was so thankful. she talked me through the tears&#8230; My family couldnt do it for me at that moment. I am not sure why. But she was able to feel the pain and bring me through the other side.</p>

<p>from here it was along the highway to get to Walker lane again&#8230; and you know I dont remember seeing hte road. I remember crying and hearing michelle tell me that You have practiced for this stretch of the road. I saw you just last week doing this. you are ready&#8230; you are strong. those&#8230;. silly &#8230; but those words were true. But I just never imagined I would be so tired when I got to that stretch of road.</p>

How int he world did I make it this far&#8230;. see the lady in Pink in the back groune next to a car. jerry went home and told his wife that I wasnt doing well. and off she came to watch me go the rest of the way in&#8230; and cheer and tell me I could do it. HOLY COW I needed to hear it too&#8230;..Cause I wasnt so sure&#8230;. the brain was so gone I was only moving to move&#8230;. and I know now&#8230; But didnt see it at the tiem. I QUIT taking in nutrition AND Water by than&#8230;. so I was TOAST!</p>

<p>everyone stopping traffic. funny thing I remember the cars thought they were there to take pictures. didnt realize they were saving my life. they were stopping people from going up the roads while I was running. I wasnt stopping for anyone&#8230;.</p>

<p>down to the shoot and the tears were a coming down my face and everyone had steared off and was letting me have the moment. but you see the bike int eh back ground. she saw me in the begining and saw me through to the end. All of you did!!!!!!!!!!! without you&#8230; I never could have done THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>

<p>after being escorted off&#8230;. we sat and let me get food. I was so worried I would puke&#8230; NO WAY did I&#8230; : )</p>

<p>and as we sat and talked they asked me if I&#8217;d ever do it again&#8230; I asured them NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! by the morning I was talking myself back into it. I can&#8217;t leave my time the way it went&#8230; I can&#8217;t leave it as it is in my brain&#8230; a FAILURE. I know I finnished and that was my main goal. But I wanted under 5 hours and that was obtainable. I let myself fall apart and not keep my nutrition up&#8230; I will be training a little different next year. and with that&#8230; might be eating pizza ont  e run. : ) never know </p>

<p>Here is the big thing I want to make sure you all know&#8230; running 26.2 was an enlightenment&#8230; I know that I CAN do it. I know that I AM strong enough. and most of all&#8230; I KNOW that I have the family to support my crazy life choices. will they be there behind me during the months of training. yes they will. will they feel slighted sometimes when I cant do something because I must run and train. WELL DUH! but they will be there every step of the way to watch me do it again. and they will be there with thier bikes. and they will hold me through all the tears&#8230;.</p>
<p>I am the MOST BLESSED MOMMA FLY IN THE WHOLE WORLD!</p>
<p>thank you &#8230; Momma moose&#8230;papa moosie&#8230;. sistah lessa&#8230;. nieces and nephews&#8230;.  Hubby fly&#8230;.  Fly babies&#8230;. Jerry and wife&#8230;&#8230; ANGIEMALE&#8230; Michelle&#8230; Sarah&#8230;Peggy&#8230; ANNA&#8230;SANDRA&#8230; Momma Widman and baby widman&#8230; all the church family praying&#8230;.. and the one that surprised me the most&#8230; Forest&#8230; my mail lady for as long as I can remember &#8230; after she ran her leg. they went from station to station to cheer me on as well.</p>
<p>I couldnt have done it without you guys. I am sure there are more&#8230;t he vollunteers that were there. the ones handing me the water or the ones catching me at the end&#8230; you were all instrumental in me making it. and I thank you</p>
<p>Onto the next path that my life is taking me&#8230;.</p>
<p>next summer. ont he books.</p>
<p>May GNT &#8230;..June Tri the Kenai&#8230; July the last 1/2 iron man in Alaska&#8230; September the marathon&#8230;</p>
<p>the summer is mapped out this far. and I am ready as I am going to be. and I am starting training now. : ) love this. I realy do. no matter how much I whine while I am doing it.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Here is were it starts to get dicey&#8230; you see I was so excited to be running and doing it with such ease. and I was running a nice 10 min mile pace. at the 13.1 mark I was at a nice 2 hours and 14 minutes 17 seconds. that is a  such a perfect wonderful 1/2 time. I was looking at my watch thinking this means that the full in 4 hours and 30 seconds is so douable&#8230; WAHOOOO!!!!</p>
<p>But I took the wrong turn. and a running friend turned me around. But that means that I did that much extra. Know your course momma fly know your course. and since I wasnt paying attention&#8230; I am the one that lost out. I ended up following my friend which was fine but my nutrition was off by than as well. i was paying to much attention to beating my self up for the wrong turn that I got off schedual for my nutrition&#8230;</p>

<p>So buy the time I was here at mile 17&#8230; my mind was starting to go. &#8220;what mile is this?&#8221; I asked. Two dear friends Miss Forest and Sarah answered.. &#8220;mile 17! youve got this girl.&#8221;</p>
<p>I than got the call I had been thinking about from Jerry. &#8220;were are you?&#8221; and I told him &#8220;on my way up Lancashire hill. should be to you in about 50-60 minutes.&#8221; I was way off. WAY OFF!!! I wasnt to him for another 80 minutes. this is when I started to fail.</p>
<p>once up Lancashire hill. I could bairly make out the car place int he distance. and could see that there were people there. I knew it was my family but I needed to get in some nutrition. so I walked for the FIRST time in the marathon. I alowed myself one minute to walk while I got my nutrition in me and some water to wash it all down. and than I hear the foot steps of someone. and I never like that.</p>

<p>I started running right away&#8230;and this guy was so cool. he kept reasuring me that he was only doing 7 miles&#8230;</p>

<p>you are doing the WHOLE THING. you are AMAZING. just keep it up!</p>
<p>Mile 19 this is the one that I could&#8217;t get through in training without weeping and calling my husband&#8230;</p>

<p>and this hill took it out of me. no matter how much I trained for it. up and down&#8230; down and up.. it didnt prepare me for how it woudl KILL me to get up it after 19 miles of running&#8230; But my family was there and the girls ran with me keeping my spirits up and letting me know &#8230; your doing great momma. But you know &#8230; I noticed right here that the girls would start to run to only walk because I had slowed that much&#8230;</p>
<p>as I ran to mile 19 I kept singing a song it wasn&#8217;t a nice song.but it was all because of a picture of DYNAMITE I had in my pouch. you see 19 was the BIG WALL for me&#8230; and a friend passed me some virtual dynamite to blow through the wall. and I took it with me. * BEAMS *  and so I was blowing up F***ING number 19 thats right not going to do you again. ect&#8230; and than Michelle came up on her bike and scared the pants off me catching me singing . LOL. together we made it to this at 20</p>

I have gone through a gambit of emotions. from wanting to puke, to knowing it is okay to cry on the ground in the middle of the race, to knowing I am going to ROCK THIS than going all through it all over again. It is amazing what the brain can do to you&#8230;. Now I am trying to figure out exactly what breakfast to have. I know my oatmeal will sit to heavy. it never does me well before a race. But this is a longer one so my special K wont cut it either. so onto my PB&amp;J toast. YEAH ME! I love that stuff&#8230;.</p>
<p>I took a few pictures to share with you all&#8230;s o you know I really am doing this. I know my momma will be there today as well as my hubby. so many pictures will be taken throughout the day&#8230;. and I will share those with you when they come my way. but for now&#8230;&#8230;.<br />

<p>I woke up to these signs all over the trail yesterday&#8230; they had done it all on Friday night&#8230; I had seen a few in soldotna but now they are EVERYWERE!</p>

<p>I KNOW its sideways&#8230;. But these cones were int he challanger center telling us which way to go. : )</p>

<p>AND THAN!!!!!! I got the number&#8230;. I stood there for a moment, and the girls I have done tri&#8217;s with that are not stupid enough to do a marathon, looked at me.    &#8221;Well if I dont take the number I can walk away and no one will know I chickened out now but me&#8230;.. If I take the number I have to show up and run it&#8230; I&#8217;m weighing my options&#8221; They laughed and shoved it into my hands&#8230;.. so there it is&#8230; #112</p>

<p>Than we say through presentations&#8230; the power point was good. it does get confusing in soldotna&#8230; I am going to hope the person in front of me doesnt get lost. LOL!</p>

<p>This part cracked me up. there is a picture in the top corner of people SMILING at this spot in the race. and of course it is at the begining&#8230;. the one in the end&#8230; they are smiling too but it is a different smile. I missed getting that one. you will have to forgive me. Hee hee</p>
<p>so there it is&#8230;. I am realy doing it&#8230; in only * checks watch * 1 hour and 45 min&#8230;. and than in about another 5 hours&#8230; I will be done. and ready to die. because I know I will have cried alot&#8230;.</p>
<p>someone that doesnt even realise how much she has influenced me is having this run dedicated to her. as a wise friend told me&#8230;. remember you are doing this for the people who can&#8217;t. when your legs can bairly move and you are walking&#8230; remember the peole that you have taken care of that couldnt even do that. the ones that cant walk&#8230; you are walking for them because you are fortunate enough to be able too&#8230;.. and she is right. I am fortunate enough to move these silly legs. even when they hurt.   </p>
<p>so many of you know who you are&#8230;. But R.H. you my dear lady friend are one who used to run these&#8230;. you loved running and are too ill to do so right now. I carry your picture in my pouch today. YOU ARE running this marathon today with my legs. I love you and this is as much for you as it is for me. : ) keep me driven friend.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>so another week bites the dust and I am a happy camper&#8230;. I got to spend time with two of my besties&#8230;.  So my running buddy that is like WAY faster than me when running&#8230; took off from Gaswell road&#8230;I left on the rout that I shared with you just a while ago&#8230; I got to the bottom of the FIRST BIG hill and wouldn&#8217;t you know it I see her smilen face a comin my way&#8230;.. &#8220;Hey speed demon&#8230;&#8221; I said&#8230;. and she ran with me back with me till we got close to the rodeo grounds&#8230; than she sais I am gonna&#8230;. Yes hun go ahead I know I am slow. go for it! </p>
<p>she did tell me how good I was doing and that she was proud and all that wonderful stuff. it is great to have someone with you for a while.  But I understand that she is so much faster&#8230;. I was ALMOST There&#8230; and I got the coolest text from my swim coach. she is out of town visiting her son and she sais&#8230; &#8221; I know this will sound silly but I miss you!!!! and you know what it isnt cause I miss her lots too. I am eager for her to come home. </p>
<p>so let me see&#8230; what did my week look like.<br />
Monday swim with coach for 2900yards<br />
tuesday 4 mile run and than Dr. visit<br />
wednesday 8 mile run and than work. : )<br />
thrusday 4 mile run than float in the water for 700 yards and talking<br />
Friday 2700 yards nice hard kicking workout&#8230; coach would be proud!<br />
Saturday 16 miles&#8230;. it was a nice morning&#8230; no rain in sight lots of sun. almost to the over heating stage.t han at the end a drizzle of rain. it was wonderful. so I am looking forward to this next week at work. it will be wonderful&#8230;. </p>
<p>and even beter is the thought that I am </p>
<p>miles 210 +3 out of 435 in 11 weeks only another 225 more to go in 7 weeks!</p>

I did NOT RUN my miles on Saturday. it was so windy and cold and I knew that i was going to be in the hot pool everyday. so I decided that I would just coach&#8230;.t hat would be my cross train for the day. : ) and this morning I was out the door before 6am&#8230; ran 13.7 miles. : ) in 2:28.52! Rather slow if you ask me. but that is only because I know that if I am chasing someone I can go faster. : ) I proved that last weekend. : )</p>
<p>So it was a great training run for me &#8230; I stayed in my normal time range&#8230; and I came back in one piece. that is all that matters. so this week my m iles ended up being a little different.</p>
<p>miles 178 +3 out of 435 in 9 weeks</p>
<p>I am pleased to tell you that my KIDS ROCKED THE SWIM MEET!!!!!!!!</p>
<p>they both SMASHED thier times. I mean SMASHED them.  D~fly took off anywere form 5-12 seconds per race. and that is BIG FOR HIM!!!! He got out on his 100 free. &#8220;COACH&#8230; they messed up&#8230; THERE IS NO WAY I swam that in 1:24. I laughed so so so hard and said&#8230; yeah you DID! and we are both so proud of you!</p>
<p>My T~ fly tried a lot of NEW things&#8230; 100 back 200 IM 200 FREE..s o those were all  NT. But the 50 free he broke his time in by a little over a second. and that is amazing! just so you know. He is now about 1 second away from beating his mother in her FASTEST 50 free sprint EVER!&#8230;..</p>
<p>well ont his happy most wonderful note&#8230; I need to get into the pool. these kids are catching me fast. Than again.  NAP FIRST &#8230;t han pool!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Is coming to a close&#8230; and I am wondering why am I doing this again. LOL. I know why though. the kids have a BIG swim meet tomorrow&#8230; and that means that because I am helping coach I need to be there at 0830 in the morning. so what do you think that means for me and my 0830 time to be on deck&#8230; yup you guessed it those 13 miles that I swaped out with last saturday to only do 10&#8230; now I HAVE TO DO THEM THIS SATURDAY&#8230;. and that means i have to get up early&#8230; on the one day I get to sleep in. if 0800 is a sleep in. LOL&#8230; I will handle it. it will mean that Sunday I get to sleep in.</p>
<p>so I will write again tomorrow about how wonderful the kids did. but for now it is still my marathon training blog. Not the kid blog&#8230;. So here is the training this week and how it went</p>
<p>After that long nice race on Saturday the 17th. my legs were&#8230; well needing to be rested. so on Monday all I did was swim. Untill my friend called that night and invited me on a walk so we went out and it ended up being 5.22 miles. I know it was a walk. But I am COUNTING IT! Than on Tuesday it was 3 miles and swimming 2200 yards. than Wednesday 7 mile run and a 2300 swim. than Thursday it was  4miles and a nice easy 2100 and Friday NO RUN and a 1700 yard swim&#8230; than I coached the littles than I taught a swim class than I worked. : ) I love my job. </p>
<p>Some days are a little more stressfull than others. But all in all&#8230; I am so happy I changed my profession. It was the best decision I have ever made. </p>
<p>so I will run my 13 miles tomorrow morning. I allready have everything ready so ALL I have to do is get out of bed. LOL&#8230; that will be the big hard thing to do. LOL&#8230; we shall see how it works. : )</p>

<p>I was able to do a bit of a tapper this week as I knew that I had a race Saturday. I still got my miles in I just did them differently. and did you realy think I wouldnt be in the pool. LOL so here is the week in a nut shell than I will tell you more.<br />
Monday swim/kick 2000yrds<br />
Tuesday run 3 miles swim/kick 2400yrds<br />
wednesday run 6 miles swim/kick 2200yrds<br />
Thursday run 2.22 miles swim/kick 1750yrds walk 3 miles<br />
Friday swim/kick 2500yrds<br />
SATURDAY RACE DAY!!!!!!!!!! 10 miles official time 1:34:44 WAHOO!</p>
<p>so my week was going well. we are tappering in the pool so I havent been as tired from that as well. and the wonderful fact that my arm hurts still so We are doing ALOT OF KICKING it is nice to not be up in the 6,000yrd range : ) so this week was easier on my legs for that fact. I didnt bike at all because of the race. and than on Thursday. tell you the trueth I thought I had only done 1 mile by the time Igot that bloody nose&#8230; : )</p>
<p>It was funny I was a beating on the door and a beating ont he door&#8230; as blood was running all down my face. stupid nose and lack of vitamin!  K. Von willibrands has a funny way of showing up in my life. So no one came to the door. ( more than likely dad was trying to get some clothing on) I decided. welp we are going to use the water outside to start washing it off&#8230;. (Mind you this is my perception of it all) the door did not make anyone move it was the water running outside that got attention&#8230;. HEE HEE&#8230; so make sure you wash all that off before you come in. I had to have looked like a bloody deer in the headlights when momma opened the door and I looked up and said&#8230;. &#8220;I have a bwoody nose momma&#8221; LOL&#8230; </p>
<p>So in I went and kinda got babied&#8230;. I mean I got a ride back into work. : ) and I got to steal a towel&#8230; which I am still trying to get the stupid blood out of. shesh blood is a rough thing! and momma and I got to chitter. we dont get to do that too often. and best. I GOT HER CLORIEN TAKER OUTER SHAMPOO!!!!!! now that is worth the bloody nose. hee hee&#8230;. I laughed all day told everyone it was the look of make sure ALL that is off you before you come in the house. lol&#8230; and than a friend said&#8230; no she was just trying to make sure there were no suitcases behind you. she is just scared youa re trying to move back in. we had a realy good laugh about all the fun. and coach DID let me swim after my nose had stopped for 20 min. YEAH!</p>
<p>so latter that day I went out for my weekly walk with my friend. and it was wonderful. two dogs pullin&#8230;.. my girlfriend with her stroller and a baby a jabberen&#8230;. who took my water bottle and kept it. *G* realy I&#8217;d give my left foot to the baby if it would make her happy&#8230;. but i think her feet are cuter and she should stick with her own. : )</p>
<p>anyway&#8230;. I was supposed to run 13 miles on Saturday&#8230;and I didnt. I know you are giving me the LOOK&#8230; here is why. the race silly. I know me. and I had all the planes to head right back out find my friend and run her back in. But I smelled that wonderful bar B Q and there was NO WAY I WAS going back out there without eating. : ) sad isnt it. but I needed to eat. everyone on the trail knew that I have troubles with my sugars all were on allert. they even had oranges at all the aid stations along the way. BUT HERE IS THE COOL THING!</p>
<p>I have been learning how to use nutrition on the trail. on all my training runs there hasn&#8217;t been an aide station. so I had to learn how to bring it with me&#8230;. and it is working. I came accross NOT SHAKING FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!!!!!! and it felt absolutly wonderful. I even had enough in me to sprint accross the line.  so at everystation I was able to pass it up and depend on no one but myself. Thanks to my momms running pack she bought me! *BEAMING A SPOLED SMILE HERE*<br />
I believe that my best 10 mile run was a 1:46 and some change. I was out with Mrs. M on this trail as I am in most runs&#8230; and I have to say she is fast. faster than me but not by much. so My goal became to just keep her in my sights. IF I could do that&#8230;. than I would be able to get a reasonable time that would beat anything I have ever done before&#8230;. it wasnt until Lankashire road that I watched her go down the hill to never see her again (Untill the end) I was upset that my legs were slowing. but they weren&#8217;t everytime I crossed  a mile marker I would split the time. and I was going faster in every mile by a good 5 seconds. so I wasnt slowing. she was just going faster than I could. and that was all I could do. pace myself and try my hardest. Mile 8-9 was done in 9.21 and mile 9-10 was done in 9.06 after looking at my watch for the past 8 weeks and always seeing just over a 10 min. mile or an 11 min mile. to see a 9 min mile seemed out of this world.</p>
<p>I am so PLEASED WITH MY TIME!!!!!!!!!!! 1 hour 34 minutes and 44 seconds was the official time. do you read that as wonderfully as I do&#8230;.? because that means that it would be possable for me to run a 4 hour marathon&#8230;&#8230; that all this training is going to be AMAZING!!!!! and I am going to cross with a smile. thank HEAVENS! I had begun to think other wise&#8230;.</p>
<p>so this week Saturday was supposed to be 13 but next week was supposed to be 10. so I swapped them and took my amazing win ( in my world) to bed with me as I smiled in my sleep&#8230;.. </p>
<p>If I could pick the best part of yesterday&#8230; it wouldnt be my great time. it would be the fact that my husband and children were int eh car&#8230; surprising all of us, 7 of the girls that ran I have been training with&#8230;.. cheering fromt he car. they all said how special the kids were and that it helped them along. as it did me! they were in one spot&#8230; than they rushed up the road to the next spot. but you never knew how many miles you were going to have to do to see them again&#8230;. but it kept you looking and hopefull&#8230; and want you to look like you were in your best form when you went by them. : ) didnt want to look tired even when you were. : )</p>
<p>well this is my week. and next week will not be so exciting I am sure. BUT for this week &#8230;&#8230;. I am blessed. : )</p>
<p>M.T. miles 153 -3 out of 435 in 8 weeks&#8230;.. now I was short 5 and I added in the 3 miles for my walk even though I only ran 2 in the morning. so that gains me up 2 miles in my 5 mile shortage. I will be getting int he 13 this saturday instead of 10 just a swap. so I will be right on track again&#8230;.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Been thinking about what kind of fun thing I can write on here. I figure it has been 7 weeks of torture&#8230; that is 49 days of trying to run on legs that don&#8217;t really like it. LOL.  49 days of running in the 49th state. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Ima cracken&#8217; myself up today!</p>
<p>So I thought about what are all the good things that are coming out of all this running. I came up with a list as I was running today. </p>
<p>1. I can pee any where any time. And not be seen.<br />
2. I can scope out the said pee spot LONG before I get there and make sure that I will not be seen<br />
3. I found socks that keep my feet from getting blisters.<br />
4. I have learned the importance of making sure I have good shoes and know how to use them<br />
5. I can run along side a moose and not get weirded out. (that would have been a million dollar video on  You tube!)<br />
6. I know why people wear a bear bell&#8230;. and I have seen it work now. : )<br />
7. a fanny pack were not fashionable in the normal world is a necessity in distance running and there are some really cool ones. : )  My  mommie bought me one that went out on trial this morning. MAN IT WAS THE COOLEST!<br />
8. Spandex is HIGHLY OVER RATED!!!!!!!<br />
9. I am a true Alaskan girl&#8230; it is 64 out right now and I am panting like a dog&#8230;. sad, very very sad&#8230;Running in this would be the death of me.<br />
10. I am happy that I cannot hear all the things around me. I am sure that the moose and bears would scare me more than they do If I knew they were coming.<br />
11. I love having time with just my mind&#8230;.<br />
12. MOST OF ALL&#8230;&#8230;.. I LVOE THAT I CAN EAT ANYTHING AND STAY THE SAME WEIGHT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOO for burning calories!</p>
<p>I think that is the most of my list right now&#8230; I will let you know as I add things to it. : )</p>
<p>so 49 days in the 49th state&#8230;. running for a purpose&#8230;and that purpose is&#8230;. ME! Lets here it for 128 miles!!! who would have thought I would do that many in my LIFE&#8230; let alone 7 weeks. : )</p>

<p> here is the training rout for today. I had it in my head that I was supposed to run 15. I think that is because I was doing 11 last week and figured oh we go up in miles. but Alas we didn&#8217;t. so today is a 7 mile. I did a little over but oh well.<br />

<p>I am happy to say that the last time I did this run it took me 1:22.20 and this time it only took 1:20.52. and that is an amazing thing for me. I shaved off almost a full 2 minutes. athough it took me 4 weeks to get that. : )</p>
<p>Not sure that i have shown you all which <a href="http://www.kenairivermarathon.org/">marathon</a> it is. I might have and I am not going to take the time to go back and look. I will just share <a href="http://www.kenairivermarathon.org/">it</a> again. </p>
<p>I have to say this so you know. I AM LOCKED IN! It is PAYED FOR! you know what that means. I cannot get out of it no matter how hard I try. LOL&#8230;.</p>
<p>With this week at a close, I have to figure out what training looked like&#8230; so you know and so I can be accountable.<br />
mon swim 3400 yards<br />
Tuesday swim 4000 yards<br />
Wednesday run 3 miles. swim 3200 yards<br />
Thursday run 5 miles swim 3200 yards and My arm gave out&#8230; so coach J. kicked me out for the weekend untill I see the Dr on Monday for the stupid rotator cuff AGAIN! ARG! She informed me that women of &#8220;OUR AGE&#8221; should not be doing this much. WHAT? ARE you kidding me. How else do you train for an iron man&#8230; you all know that this is were this is going&#8230; right? I have to finnish the marathon so I can go for the ironman&#8230; which I AM GOING TO DO!<br />
Friday 3 mile run 17 mile bike. MAN I MISS VIOLA!<br />
Saturday 7+ mile run. </p>
<p>running that takes me up to 99 miles in 3 weeks. I missed 5 week 5  ( should be 104) and I still have 331 miles of training to go before I can embark on the 26.2&#8230; OH WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?</p>
<p>I am off to take a shower and cool off all my horrably painfull muscles. and tomorrow I will eb biking a beautiful 26+ miles. I cannot wait. I miss Viola so much. it will be fun to go fast again&#8230; </p>

<p>this was my run this morning&#8230; and it was good. 1:57:05 Nice time&#8230; and I had a whole lot of fun to tell. like alwaysI have forgoten it all. LOL.. it has been a long run. and the only thing that was funny that happened that I can remember was I was in the zone&#8230; my head was int eh run&#8230; nothing was around me. no noises that were bothering me. no movement that was around&#8230; nothing but me the pavement and the light sprinkle of water fromt he heavens. and I was t hinking of what I was going to write to you&#8230; my faithfull 5 readers&#8230;. and than something moved. yes there it was ..s omething&#8230; than ALOT of movement&#8230; THAN MY HEART WENT INTO MY THROAT. I thought that something was at a dead run at me through the water to my left. so when I took the time to look&#8230; I screamed&#8230;. &#8220;DUCKS!! are you KIDDING ME?&#8221; yes a momma and all her spring babies 16 of them&#8230; were int he water making a racket. and were in my mind they were running at me&#8230;t hey were doing thier best to get away.. LOL!!</p>
<p>Running excitment for the day.<br />

<p>21 miles this week&#8230; skipped 5 that takes me downt o 16&#8230; 81 total so far&#8230; only 354 more miles to go&#8230; </p>
