Little April Rose
Introducing!!!!!
I am a 20-something year old daughter of the King. I am also a Momma; carrying D and I’s little girl April Rose. She was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 and Lobar HPE over 4 months ago and we were told to terminate. We didn’t, and today, all 3 of us are still here.
I follow a lot of blogs. I don’t put them on here. Sometimes I am not sure why. But I don’t …. One of them is this one… Little April Rose. This little one was diagnosed 4 months ago in utero Trisomy 13
and Lobar HPE. There was little hope. The parents were told to Terminate the pregnancy and B (mom) and D (dad) decided to leave it up to God on what would happen.
Today is a beautiful day. April was supposed to be born in April. She had stopped growing 3 months ago and her heart was failing. God decided to let her stay in utero with her mom and dad UNTIL JUNE! April was BORN IN JUNE… instead of April. That is a Miracle.
Please head over to tell them congrats. But with that. Tell them that you know the Lord will be with them. As they are currently losing their daughter as well. They knew that it was unlikely that she would live for long. But they have gotten 5 beautiful hours with a FULL TERM BABY! That was supposed to be gone long ago. That the Dr.s asked her to terminate in April. Said she wouldn’t last another week. And here they are in JUNE with a baby. That is beautiful, that has had her first bath. That has been in her mommas arms for 5 hours. That has a FULL BELLY. She even ate. WOW! So please hold them up in prayer!
And watch the journey unfold if you will. With Prayers constantly going up.

time to get
back into training. the boy and I are going to be running in the mornings. have a great new site that I am working with Halhigdon.com I will be doing that. and my biggest boy will be getting a little less done everyday. But he will be working on his speed for this upcoming tri and for the cross country team. I can’t wait to see what he is able to do this next year.
