Hubby and I had a great time. I even got time to run out and get a bike ride on the GNT course that is the ERT course. Wonderful time I had with another tri’er in Eagle river. And the winner of the GNT last year… she was there too. It was great to get to train with her too. Such a nice woman. I enjoyed them both immensely.

Hubby’s test came back all GOOD! That is wonderful news as well. I was not so sure that was going to be the case. They had found something last time and well we decided to give it a while and see what happened. This is what happened. God took care of it all. we are blessed.

So With a preview of the biking course… I could have run they even offered. But instead I flapped my jaws and didn’t run. I am good at that too…. I think we are all ready for the Tri. I have been able to figure out what to do for tomorrow night. We are going to run out to Sohi and grab those hills… get in a few great running miles as well.

Tomorrow morning we will be on our way to Big Town USA! will be there for a night get a test run see the Dr. make sure all is good… and head back home.

that is IF the road is open at moose pass. if not it will be God’s way of telling us. Not today Folks… and we will head home.

we will keep in touch with you. and let you know all tha tis going on as we can. it will be hard. not having the computer. I might try to use the mini in Prov. If I can I will. till than….

Yesterday was an evening to remember. Missy and I went over to the Pool to meet up with a group of 8 others +2 guys. and we ran a snake swim/ moch tri. Now see the other 8 and the guys. they WHIMPED OUT ON US! But Missy and I we….we went for the whole thing. did a fine job too. Missy swam her 300 in 5:55. (5 weeks of training) she is ROckin it in the pool. that is simply AMAZING. than she was able to power through the biking 9 miles in 40 min. Than we were off for the run. 1.8 miles in 25 min. she sure started off strong. just a little more endurance and she will be running the whole thing.  

I stayed with her. this was about showing her that she is MORE THAN READY FOR THIS TODAY! Imagine what 3 more weeks will do for her.

Me? I am doing well. I passed a few while swimming and I powered through my bike and the walk run. was nice. I got to talk to my friend. and than got to brag her up EVERYWERE I can. Hubby was beaming with pride when I told him how good she did. than after she left he couldnt stop. He can’t wait till this tri. he is excited to see us go for it. I AM TOO!

Okay not COMPLEATLY DEAD but it is the transmission. and if you know anything about cars…. that basicaly means. DEAD!

It will all work out. for once….I am not freaking out about this. I know that all things will be just fine. Hubby looked into a few things with it last night. and we are getting into a deeper problem. so I am off to call a good ‘ol friend. He has done work with the family for years. and event he parts guy told me to just call already. LOL. so I am off to give him a call. what do you do if the ONLY vehical in the family goes belly up…..? YOU RIDE YOUR BIKE EVERYWERE… including to the place to pick up a van to use… that is 14.5 miles away. LOL…. Off I go!
