I told my son…. my oldest.

“Hun go get the paper bags and cut them open and make a sign that says ‘Yard sale’ really big… Okay?”

So he went and got the bags, came out, and than got to work. I was watching him from the corner of my eye and knew that he was going to mess it up but I knew that I had another bag int he hosue. he cut it right in half. so I hear….

“Welp I messed that up. what do I do now?”

“Go get another bag babe and get started on it again. Pay closer attention to what you are doing.”

He did a great Job. came over to show me his ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!!

Really BIG YARD SALE! LOL I see that there are cakes that get messed up that way.

So here is the new one that he wrote after we all laughed about it for a while….

It was a major giggle fest here at our house over that. I am proud that he handled BOTH mess up’s with humor and laughter…. and me.. I will laugh about it all night long.

 A LOT of people ask me why I like living in small town U.S.A. And I tell them about how my kids can play out in the street and I don’t have to worry about the people coming down to fast and running them over. I tell them about the fact that the neighbor will catch them doing something will discipline them and send them home. While they are running home I will get a phone call and they will tell me what the kids have done so that I can be on the porch pointing to the house and say nothing but “WALL”

Than my kids have not one parent but many. It takes a whole village… I know you have all heard that. But do you have the village that is willing to step up to the plate. I DO!… and with the discipline from people also come the fun….

Today one of the houses back here was having some work done that involved having a backhoe and a front loader….. and my kids and the neighbor kids were lucky enough to be given rides.

This guy caught them doing wrong last year. And this year the kids were really GOOD.

So he offered them all rides for watching and staying out of the way this year. I am so thankful for him remembering them and for giving them a little treat.

This is one of the neat things that happens around here that just doesn’t happen everywhere.

08-14-08 Has become a new day for me. one that is going to bring a smile rather than tears. in 2000 on the same day I lost my son. But now there is a new baby to bring a smile to my face on the same day Please welcome this beauty to the world.

She was 6#9oz 18 inches long and is the most beautiful little girl. I am partial to those that are mine either addopted or real. this one I get to be an honorary auntie. and I am OH SO proud of her. Momma done a real good job. she is hurting because of a nasty rash. But they are getting it under control. YEAH FOR THE DR.

so if you are wondering this is Marvin Lovers little baby. She was losing weight and doing great. and was able to concieve a sweet little girl. NOW the wait to meet her is over and her momma is so happy. But OH BOY POPPA bear… he is more proud than I have ever seen. I tell you he even carries in baby and everything momma might need. He is at his two womens BECK AND CALL!!!!!

I just want you to know daddy YOU ROCK!

Congrats sis from another momma……. you done good. and you are both the most beautiful women I have ever had the pleasure to know. thank you for being my smile little one.
