I went and turned in my official sign up for the womens run. So it is official I will be in it. no turning back now. I payed my money….. I don’t wanna turn back. BUT man I haven’t run enough to feel confident about it. I will be sore the next day. THAT I KNOW!

Many of you know that with the goal of this was the goal to raise $1,000 for the shelter. I did A LOT of foot work. running around and asking people to help support the Lee Shore Center by sponsoring me. I was hoping to get there. and you know in the end I wasn’t sure who all was going to follow through. Yesterday I was able to turn in $1,210 and I know there are 4 more people to turn in. I would love to see it hit a number like 1,500 but it might not. and that is okay. the amount that people have been able to give is AMAZING. I hope that next year. I can raise $5,000.

So I am doing the 5K. I don’t think I could make the 6K. I might be able too but I will stick with what I know. and 5K’s I know. so I will get a rithym and stick with it. that will make sure I get across the line and that is really all I will need out there. I am not looking to win this. But I am looking to say “Hey there is a need for a place like this. sad BUT TRUE!” I am looking to get my shirt finished here really soon. so I will get pictures of me in that before the race and let you all see just how many people supported what I am doing…
