I do have to admit I cheat on my rice. A dear friend/ client gave me a rice cooker for mothers day 6 years ago… I have used it ever since. sooooo once you get the rice going… you start in on the main portion….. 

The meat…

2 TBS of the oil…. in a hot pan than add meat

 untill it looks like this.

Than you take the meat out of the pan put it in a bowl ( I wash the bowl it was in first *G*)

Than you add the last 2 TBS oil….

 Add veggies. Fry untill just turning tender…

 

Put the meat  back in and Add water mix…

Cover and Simmer for about 5 min.

 

WAHLAAAA Serve over rice. Happy children happy me. I will get the finnal picture when the rice is done.

We are going to do this in a two part. Not only because I have therapy to get too. BUT because one of the things Kevin taught me was that prep work was very important. So…. a little history

I had the curse pleasure of working with My brother N Law in the kitchen. He is one messy boy but he sure knew how to cook. When I asked him to make one of the pies my uncle used to make he said no. Asked him why… he said because you can’t compete with a dead guy. LOL. But he taught me a lot of neat things in the kitchen. One is this recipe here. He used to make it on the slope for all the guys. Said they used to rave about it… and my kids do the same. So here it goes…….

Mongolian beef

thinly slice 2 pounds of Beef

add to it….

  

2 TBS Soy sauce

 

2TBS cornstarch.

 

4 cloves garlic pressed/ I find it works better to grate. Stire and set aside…..

Slice Veggies

 2 bunches onions

 4 medium carrots

 1 green pepper

 place in a bowl and set aside.

1 ½ cups water

 4 TBS soy sauce

 1TBS plus 2tsp cornstarch

 1tsp sugar

 ½ tsp crushed red pepper

 2 tsp sesame seeds

4 TBS EVOO

they stole the camera again.t hey were so POUD that I felt thier pictures were good enough to put it on my site… that they did some more. This time they ALL seemed to have fun with it. I was talking to a friend giggling about the camera thevery in the after noon. They over heard and stole the camera again.  So here is the product of the fun they had… ENJOY!

 Started off with the girl.. she was the one that was able to be right there to steal the camera you know. He was in trouble sooooo she got one of him up on his high cat like perch. *G*

  Than passed off the camera to him so that he could get one of her with HIS puppy. Look how pretty I am with your dog.

 So she took back the camera and caught her brother in quite the pose. Awwwwwwwww He looks like he was caught off gard. *G*

 Than he felt left out. so this morning. I let him get a picture or two of the dog with his brother. *G* they look so… well tuckered out. and that is SO NOT the case.

Boys will be off doing uncles lawn. Today is my day for doing out north and than tonight I am off to do one of my house carpets. it will be a long night 2100-0200 or so… but one that I am ready for. Got alot of really good sleep the past two nights. I am off and runnin’ now. *G* Enjoy the pictures and I will see you all latter….

BTW… You liking that I am posting more? I knew you would D. someone got on me like you and well with 2 of you at me… I HAVE TOO! So for you TWO, my faithful everyday readers. I am trying. really I am!
