None of you knew because I didn’t put it here. But we have been on baby watch for one of the young girls that helped us all last summer with the kids… she stayed here with us and was a wonderful help.

It has been her turn to learn about mother hood and the hardships of getting to that point. Last night the call came in at 1800…. Momma Dfly ….. her water just broke…

Okay head over to the hospital so that they can get you started on your pit and get snuggled in. I need to get the kids in bed and get hubby situated and than I will be there.

You know how slow it is in the beginning… By the time I got there at about 2000 she was just getting the pit started. It was slow… it was rough a first time mom… that baby had a lot of work to do.

So we sat and tried to find the right position. ( her back was all that would work). As she got further along …. she was shaky… why is it like that Dfly….? it is all part of it. Baby is doing the work for you.. hang tough….

we went from the slow breath to the hee hee poohs…. we went to pant… we let her pick the pace…. we made her stick with me on the pace…. Sitting on the other side is so hard to do. When you are the one doing it… you are able to find another place. Welcome it to you and ride he waves of the contractions… for me with ease…. for her … it is scary… all new.. and hard… the waves were out of this world with pain for her….

Yet with a little tiny bit of pain med help… she was able to have a baby vaginally with NO complications… her and this sweet little guy are resting comfortably…

I tell you it is different being on the helpless side of things. What an amazing site. I have never seen it from this side….. thank you to these two young parents for letting me be part of one of the most amazing moments in your life. Mom thank you for everything you have ever done. Especially being there for the birth of everyone of my babies. I don’t know if I could have done it without you….. thank you
